In 1980 Gene opened the doors to “The Salon.” Knowing exactly what he wanted to achieve, he set about building one of the most successful, longest running salons in the metropolitan area.  His vision was simple, build an unpretentious yet professional salon that offered quality services with an emphasis on a friendly, personal experience.

In early 2022, Gene sold The Salon to long time team member and manager, Nicole. Still continuing to work behind the chair, he also is a business mentor. He’s very proud of the fact that most of his clients have been with him since the day he opened.
